Study Overview

In this study, you will take on the role of a resource manager for a bike sharing company. You'll work with a machine learning (ML) prediction model to help ensure the right number of bikes are available for customers.

Compensation

The total compensation for this study can be up to £12, made up of:

• £4 base compensation is provided upon completing the survey and passing attention checks
• £4 bonus compensation is provided based on prediction accuracy; greater precision yields a higher payout
• £4 bonus compensation is provided based on the correctness of your responses to single-choice questions

Study Structure

1. Learn how the machine learning (ML) prediction model works (5 min)
2. Make bike demand predictions and analyze model behavior (35 min)
3. Post-survey questionnaire (5 min)
